Fall TOLIS Wisdom Circle Meditation
(from our meeting on Oct. 13, 2024, written by iRev Sarah Heartsong)
Find yourself in a comfortable position, either seated or lying down. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths, allowing your body to relax.
Center yourself in the space you occupy. Honor the indigenous people who have walked this land for centuries, acknowledging their presence and the wisdom they have passed down through generations and the others who may have been where you are before, caretaking the sacred landscape of your particular setting.
Now imagine yourself surrounded by the vibrant hues of autumn. Golden leaves dance in the gentle breeze, and the air is crisp and cool. Feel a sense of peace and tranquility wash over you, spinning you in the air like a leaf falling gently from a tree in a soft, cool breeze.
Visualize a vast, interconnected network of energy extending out from you. This network stretches across the globe, connecting people from all walks of life and you are part of it! Imagine yourself as a node in this network, connected to countless others.
With each breath, feel your connection to this global community deepening. Send out positive energy and love to those around you, near and far. Imagine their faces, their smiles, their hopes and dreams.
As you continue to breathe, envision a tapestry woven from the diverse threads of humanity. Each person contributes a unique pattern, a vibrant color, to this beautiful creation. Together, we form a tapestry of unity and interconnectedness.
Take a moment to appreciate the beauty and diversity of this global community. Let gratitude fill your heart as you recognize the interconnectedness of all beings, both seen and unseen.
When you're ready, gently open your eyes and return your focus to the present moment. Carry the sense of peace, connection, and gratitude with you throughout the day.
