About the Event

Tarot Salon Fundraiser for the Healing Hearts Faire

with Sarah Heartsong and Joshua Rex

November 12, 2022

11:30-1:00 PT, 12:30-2:00 MT, 1:30-3:00 CT, 2:30-4:00 ET

This will be a hybrid (Zoom/In-Person) event sponsored by the Tree of Life Interfaith Sanctuary (TOLIS) in support of the ChaliceHart Healing Hearts Fund (https://healingheartsfair.org/)All proceeds will be donated to this amazing charity, which supports people out of seriously hard times.

The Salon will be facilitated in person, at the Healing Heart’s Faire in Bremerton by Sarah Heartsong and Joshua Rex will Zoom in from Silver City, NM and will help with the facilitation of the online process.

We’ve partnered up to share an amazing new technological way of meeting people both online and in-person for Teachings such as these.

We all will connect together, those from the room in person and those online into triads to share mini readings with each other while the teachers are available to help with tricky “reads” and by bringing depth into your perspective. This is a great way for both experienced and novices to mingle and share learning, teaching, reading and hearings from the Tarot.

The way this will work is that we will have a camera pinned on the in-person room and then another camera on Sarah. Others will Zoom in from wherever they are.

We will begin with a Tarot Introductory Teaching for about 30 min, which will include how to intuitively read the Tarot, a basic 4-card spread instruction (one Sarah’s used for years), and then we will do a group reading to show how this little spread is cast. After we show participants how to do the readings we will break into small groups of 3. Those on Zoom will be sent to break out rooms, those in person will separate to different parts of the room. Sarah and Joshua will stay in the main room on Zoom and be available to help as needed. Sarah will monitor the “in-person readers”.

Each person should receive at least a 5 minute personal reading, but if each group switches, making sure everyone gets a fair share of the reading time, each person will get 10 minutes. (Each small group will have 30 minutes.) There will be 2 group readings and time to reflect on the process and what was learned with Questions and Answer time after the small group readings.

This is a Win-Win-Win-Win event. The teachers win by getting exposure and being able to show off their talents. The students win by getting a deeper understanding of the tarot and should take 3 short readings away with them. The community wins because this is a giveaway for a good cause with all the proceeds going towards helping people who really need it. The ChaliceHart and TOLIS organizations get to give back and let people know more about their Good Works. This is All Good.

Come play with us! It’s only $20 to join and if you cannot attend in person, no problem! We’ll also be online.

What to bring? 1) Bring an open mind, 2) a mask if you are most comfortable in one & are among those meeting in person*, 3) your personal deck of Tarot cards (if you have one as each group needs access to a deck of cards, but is not necessary to have a deck to fully participate) and 4) any questions that might be lurking in your cauldron of tricks or treats that the Tarot or thinking about reading the cards stirs within you. The people in the room propel our Question/Answer time. Finally, bring a bottle of water and anything you need for your personal comfort.

Please try to not use scented products if attending this workshop in person as Sarah has sensitivities.

Zoom link will be shared upon registration, which is required for attendance.

*Masks are not required for in-person attendance. Please attend via Zoom if you present with unexpected symptoms that might be indicating a contagion.
